Curtain walls We have over 2,200 walls across the Nordic region Our walls The quality awareness that has permeated the company since its inception in 1949 means that we can today proudly present the most robust curtain walls on the market. History In 1965 the first curtain wall was delivered by Saxi under the name Harmonica, a double-sided curtain wall of fabric. The first really large-scale curtain wall, Teanik 2000, was delivered to Lugnet in Falun in 1975. The wall had no sewn seams, which was unique for its time. When Norwegian football halls demanded a lighter wall to keep balls in the right area that could be raised in a curved position, we designed a mesh partition that would subsequently be developed into Teanik Net. Our walls are now installed in all types of halls and venues in many parts of the world such as Yeskarta, Chennai and Montreal. Scrim walls and Acoustic Our latest additions are the two in-house designed walls Teanik 500 Scrim and Teanik 500 Acoustic. Scrim is a type of PVC mesh that has the same stability as an ordinary fabric but is translucent. This means, among other things, that it is very lightweight. Teanik 500 Acoustic is a new type of curtain wall with sound absorbing elements on both sides that is designed for noisy environments. Warranty and service Saxi offers a 2 year warranty on the material and equipment that we install. To maximise the service life of the curtain walls, we offer a turnkey service agreement for individual property owners/managers and municipalities. |
